How to prevent water cup from leaking

1. When you drill the hole, make sure the hole size is the same size as the drill bit included in the package.

2. Adjust the cup and make it horizontally balance, so water will not leak out of the cup.

3. Tighten the fixing screw, leaving no space between the rubber ring and the screw.

 

1.Position the Fountain Properly: Place the chicken drinking fountain on a flat, stable surface within the coop. Ensure it’s elevated slightly off the ground to prevent contamination from dirt and droppings. The height should allow chickens to comfortably reach the water without straining. Regularly check the placement to make sure it remains stable and level, especially after cleaning or refilling.

2.Refill Regularly: Monitor the water level in the drinking Chicken drinking device and refill it as needed.  Always use clean, fresh water to prevent bacterial growth and ensure your chickens stay hydrated. Avoid letting the water level drop too low to prevent dehydration.

3.Clean Thoroughly: Clean the chicken drinking fountain at least once a week to remove , slime, and bacteria that can accumulate. Disassemble the fountain and scrub all parts with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly to remove any soap residue. Allow all components to dry completely before reassembling and refilling with fresh water.

4.Check for Leaks: Regularly inspect the drinking Chicken drinking device for any signs of leaks or damage. A leaking Chicken drinking device can create wet, unsanitary conditions that attract pests and make the area slippery. If you notice any issues, repair or replace the faulty parts promptly to maintain a clean and safe drinking environment for your chickens.
