Garden Edging Installation Option 1
Items needed: Hammer & block of wood
Handling: Metal edges are sharp! Cut resistant gloves are required.
Instructions:
- 1. Remove any shipping wrapping.
- 2. Layout edging in desired area.
- 3. With one hand, hold edging upright. With the other hand, hold a block of wood (or a flat, thick object) directly on top of the edging. Tap the top of the block with the hammer (the wood block will act as a buffer to prevent damage to edging while installing) until garden edging is secured in the ground.
- 4. If using more than one panel of edging, use a drill to create holes at the top end and bottom end of each panel. Overlap the corrugate, and use screws to secure the two panels together.
Garden Edging Installation Option 2 - Reinforce with wooden stakes
Items needed: Wooden garden stakes, screws and screw gun.
Handling: Metal edges are sharp! Cut resistant gloves are required.
Instructions:
- 1. Remove any shipping wrapping.
- 2. Drive wooden stakes into the ground in the desired edging location.
- 3. Drill self-drilling sheet metal screws into edging to secure edging to wooden stakes.
